The Medical Centre and Specialist Centre is the heart of the Health Hub. The Health Hub staff pride ourselves on giving our patients top-class time and attention.  Patients of the doctors enjoy visiting the light, spacious and aesthetic rooms within the state-of-the-art facility.  

The General Practitioners                         

All the GPs work independently and bulk bill DVA patients, pension card holders, health care card holders and children under 16. Their fee schedule for private patients can be found here. Dr Sima Safaei, Dr Waqas Khan, Dr Nisha Krishnamoorthy, Dr Jennifer St Croix and Dr Saeid Tahmasebi bulk bill ALL patients with the exception of procedures.

Dr Jennifer St Croix, Dr Nisha Krishnamoorthy, Dr Waqas Khan and Dr Sima Safaei consult full-time. They have all moved with their families to Goulburn and their interests range from chronic disease, women’s health and skin cancer.

Dr. Roslyn Davis consults on Tuesday and Friday afternoons and specialises in adults with developmental disabilities, geriatrics, rehab, general medicine and chronic disease and palliative care.

Dr. Saeid consults all weekdays except Wednesdays. Dr Saeid has an interest in men’s health, pediatrics, mental health and family General Practice.

Dr. Claire Cupitt consults on varying days and still provides locum services to small rural towns in Western NSW. She has been the sole GP in several remote areas and thus has vast experience in general medicine. Her special interests are in acupuncture, chronic pain, skin checks, paediatrics, women's health and is developing skills in using acupuncture for a variety of conditions, including pain. She is able to insert IUDs.       

Dr. Janet Ninio runs a skin cancer clinic. Dr. Ninio has over 30 years experience and bulk-bills full time pensioners.

Hours
The General Practice is open Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm.

Appointments
Appointments can either be made over the phone or online by booking via our website: goulburnhealthhub.com. 
We reserve on the day appointments for existing patients and we can accommodate walk-in appointments depending on availability. Emergencies will always be given priority.

Telehealth Appointments

Speak over the phone to your Doctor or Health Professional. You will be called at the appointment time. Eligibility – A patient will need to have been physically seen by the doctor at the practice in the past year (12 months) to be eligible for MBS rebates for telehealth services (with the exception of patients positive of COVID). Practice Services
Services provided by the GPs include but are not limited to:
General Medicine and physical checkups, ECG heart checks, counselling, sexual health, accident and emergency treatment, child health and immunizations, flu vaccinations, spirometry, minor surgery, skin checks, pre-employment and executive health checks, women’s health including pap smears, pregnancy, menopause management and family planning, men’s health, health assessments, travel medicine, Pain Management, Sports Medicine, Q Fever and hearing tests.

Patient feedback
Please feel free to email us, talk to your doctor or reception Staff if you have any suggestions or are unhappy in any way with the service received. Alternatively, you may prefer to contact the Health Care Complaints Commission at NSW Health on 1800 043 159.

We recently sought patient feedback via a survey. We have collated the results of this survey and implemented strategies to address some of the issues raised by our regular patients. If you have any interest in readiing about these Quality Improvement Measures please don’t hesitate to ask one of our friendly staff members.

After Hours and Emergency
If you require medical attention outside the normal practice hours, please make your way to the Goulburn Base Hospital or in an emergency call 000.

Home visits
Home visits are available for regular Patients whose condition prevents them from attending the surgery.

Nursing Home visits
Dr Waqas Khan does see nursing home patients. Please call to arrange initial appointment after transfer of records and new patient form has been received and completed.

Fees and billing arrangements
Some of the doctors bulk bill patients and other mix bill patients. All pension, healthcare card holders and children under 16 years are bulk billed by the GPs who consult here.
Fees are payable at the time of consultation. The doctor’s billing policies and fees are displayed at reception.

Non Attendance Fees
If you fail to attend a GP or specialist appointment without providing notice there will be a non attendance fee. If you do so two times or more then a $100 deposit will be required in order to make any future appointments.

Communication / telephone policy
Staff will take your details over the phone or via emails that are sent to info@goulburnhealthhub.com and will only interrupt a consultation with the GP if the problem is urgent. For non-urgent cases a response can be expected by the next day.

Test results
If you have been sent for a test, please make sure to contact us for the result 2-3 days later. If there is reason for a follow up our staff will call to make a recall appointment.

Reminder system
The practice is committed to preventative healthcare. You have the option of registering to receive reminder notices regarding health services appropriate to your care.
