Sanjeeva (Sam) Herath graduated from the university of Otago (New Zealand) and commenced both basic physician and advanced physician training (Nephrology) in Sydney, New South Wales.

He is currently a visiting medical officer for nephrology and general medicine at South Eastern Area, Regional Health Districts, Western Area Health District and Western Area Country Health Service (WA). He is passionate about general and nephrology medicine in the regional setting and working collaboratively with GP’s to optimise clinical outcomes.
