 Dr Michael Oliffe, B.ASc (Physiotherapy), MBBS, GradCert Epidemiology, FRACP, Rheumatologist

Dr Oliffe consults fortnightly and is currently appointed as a Staff Specialist Rheumatologist at Liverpool Hospital and has private rooms in Penrith. He is the Director of Training for the Australian Rheumatology Association (NSW) and is a primary investigator in several international clinical trials pursuing the latest treatment advances for patients with rheumatological conditions. 

Dr Oliffe’s practice includes all areas of rheumatology including inflammatory arthritis, spondyloarthritis, vasculitis, lupus and other connective tissue diseases. He also has an interest in sports related injuries having worked as a sports physiotherapist and is trained in musculoskeletal ultrasound. He can see patients over the age of 18 years and some patients who are 16/17 years of age.

Dr David Martens, MBBS, BAppSc, FRACP, Rheumatologist

David Martens is currently appointed as a Staff Specialist Rheumatologist at Liverpool Hospital. He has completed degrees in both Physiotherapy and Medicine at The University of Sydney. Since graduating, he has worked and trained across multiple sites, including Canberra Hospital, Goulburn Base Hospital, Liverpool Hospital, and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

Research interests have included the use of Patient Reported Outcome Measures, and he has presented on this topic at state and national conferences. He can see patients over the age of 18 years and some patients who are 16/17 years of age.

Dr Jeremy Wang, MBBS, FRACP, Rheumatologist

Dr Jeremy Wang graduated from Sydney Medical School in 2014. He then completed Basic Physician Training in 2018 and subsequently undertook Rheumatology training through Westmead, John Hunter and Wollongong Hospitals and obtained FRACP in November 2021.

During his training, he developed interests in regional health and plans to continue his service outside metropolitan areas. During his free time, he enjoys jogging in the local park, drawing and playing the 7-stringed zither.
